Italian Chicken
I received this recipe from Patti, a fellow church member. She made it for dinner one night when we came over for dinner one night a few years ago. Since then, it has become a family favorite.
1lb chicken
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 pkg Good Seasons Italian dressing (dry)
1/2 c sour cream
1. Cube chicken and put in crock pot with soup and Italian dressing
2. Mix and cook on high for 3-4 hours.
3. Turn off and put in sour cream
4. Serve over rice
I usually double this recipe whenever I make it. I have also used cream of mushroom if I didn't have cream of chicken. I have also left out the sour cream when I have forgotten to put it on my shopping list. This recipe is very good and can be adjusted based on what you have.
The first time I had this meal, I had rice, the italian chicken, and then peas on top. Makes for a beautiful plate and a delicious meal with food groups covered.

Famous Butter Chicken
I found this recipe on allrecipes.com and changed it up. This is the link to the original recipe http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Famous-Butter-Chicken/Detail.aspx.
2 eggs (beaten)
1 pkg Ritz Crackers
1/2 c. bread crumbs
garlic powder
onion powder
celery salt
pepper
2lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/3 c. butter (melted)
1. Preheat oven to 375*
2. Beat eggs in bowl. Place Ritz crackers, bread crumbs, and seasonings in separate bowl.
3. Dip chicken in egg bowl coating entire breast. Then dip breast in cracker/crumb mixture and place in baking pan (9x13).
4. Pour melted butter over top of chicken and in pan.
5. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.
I have used this same recipe for boneless pork chops and it turned out well. My family loves this dish. Whenever I make it, both my son and husband are happy people. Hope you enjoy this meal as much as we do.
Works well with alfredo sauce and pasta and a green vegetable of choice or pork and beans.

Introduction
I am creating this blog to share recipies that I have made and my family loved. These recipes include meals I grew up eating, meals my husband grew up eating, and new recipes that I find online. If I find them online, I will leave a link to the original recipe. I will share a little background and the reaction my family gives and any substitutions I have tried.
If you would like to read this blog then you will have to share a recipe. If you already have access, it's cause you've already given me a recipe, but I will appreciate new ones to try and so will my family.
